The Chefferies of Logo Ogambi (Faradje Territory) and Andobi (Watsa Territory)
serve as the foundational pillars of the Haut Uele regeneration movement. As the legitimate customary authorities, they provide the essential land and community framework required to reconnect the habitats between Garamba National Park and the Okapi Wildlife Reserve. By placing human dignity and ancestral land rights at the center of the project, these Chefferies act as the ultimate guarantors of shared governance and territorial stability in one of the Congo Basin’s most strategic landscapes.

By bridging the gap between academic research and operational field reality, Nature Plus ensures that ecological restoration is both scientifically rigorous and socially sustainable. In this project, Nature Plus provides the essential data, mapping, and monitoring frameworks required to secure biodiversity corridors. With decades of experience in the Congo Basin, the organization serves as the technical guarantor for the protection of endemic species and the integrity of protected area buffer zones.

With expertise in permaculture and regenerative design, Fanyatu has already enabled the planting of over 7.2 million trees across the DRC.
